Probo Design Bounty

Probo is a prediction platform where users trade on real-world events, sports, politics, entertainment. The challenge was to design performance marketing ads, TV L-bands, and social creatives across two scenarios: an Olympics campaign and the India vs Pakistan World Cup final.

I started by auditing Probo's existing creatives across platforms. A few things stood out immediately.

The design language wasn't consistent, fonts, colors, and layouts shifted across formats without a clear system holding them together. The use of the Abril serif typeface felt misaligned with the brand's energy. Serif fonts carry a formal, traditional weight that works against a fast-paced prediction platform aimed at a young audience.

The gradient usage was also pulling the visuals down. Where solid color would've kept the message sharp and immediate, gradients were softening the impact, the opposite of what performance ads need.

That audit shaped every decision I made before designing a single frame.

The design decisions

Two colors anchored the system. Blue for trust and security, critical for a platform where users are putting real opinions and money on the line. Orange-red for urgency and action, the push that gets someone to predict now rather than later. The contrast between the two creates a natural hierarchy: blue builds confidence, orange drives the click.

Typography shifted to a modern sans-serif to match the platform's pace. Bold, condensed, direct, the kind of type that works at 300x250 and scales down to a 320x50 banner without losing legibility or energy.

What I designed

Across both scenarios, Olympics performance ads, testimonial formats, TV L-bands, an Instagram post, a WhatsApp creative, and a push notification. Each format had its own constraint. The banner sizes required stripping the message to its absolute minimum. The WhatsApp creative needed to feel native to the format, not like an ad that wandered in from another channel.

The constraint that made it interesting

No brief is perfectly clean. Working across this many formats simultaneously meant every design decision had to be system-level, not one-off. A color that works on a full-bleed Instagram post also has to survive as a 320x50 strip. That kind of thinking, designing for the system before designing for the format, was the real challenge here.
